Quilting 2.0 Triangle Sampler - Thursdays 2/28, 3/14, 3/21, and 3/28, 6-9pm
Introducing our newest quilting class - Quilting 2.0 Triangle Sampler - taught by Mary Perisho aka "Mary Make & Do"!
We will be making a throw size quilt - approximately 64 x 75 inches.
In four sessions, 3 hours each, you will learn to make a modern-style triangle quilt top. Classes will focus on how to make 3 different triangles: half-square triangles, flying geese, and 60 degree triangles.
Please note that you only make a quilt top in this class. When finished you can choose to quilt it on your own or send to a local longarm quilter. We can recommend a longarm quilter if you choose that option.
Cost is $195 and includes: 12 hours of instruction, all fabric for your quilt top (we will be using solids for this class), 60 degree triangle ruler and marking pen.
Additional materials required but not provided: sewing machine, thread, cutting mat (18 x 24 inches), rotary cutter, cutting rulers (6 x 24 inches and any smaller square or rectangle ruler at least 6 inches), basic sewing supplies, and walking foot. To finish your quilt you will also need throw size batting and 3 1/2 to 4 yards of fabric.
Classes for this session are on four Thursday nights from 6-9 pm, on 2/28, 3/14, 3/21, and 3/28. Do note that we will be skipping Thursday, 3/7.
Reservations are required and space is limited to 4 students.
Pre-requisite - Beginning Quilting. For teens and adults.
Our class location is now at Retro Den - 1216 S. Harvard Ave in Tulsa, OK.
