How much is the Urban Sew-In? What is included with the fee?

Garment Getaway is $185. A lovely weekend of sewing, tote bag class with Mary Perisho, and some meals. Lodging not included.

How do I sign up and pay?

Registration opens on March 6. Click here to sign up.

I have food allergies, are you able to accommodate them?

We plan to do our best to accommodate food allergies/restrictions, if you want to know ahead of time, please email us with your concerns.

Can I get a room at the Doubletree Hilton for the weekend?

Yes. Rooms are $94/night and reservations can be made at www.tulsadowntown.doubletree.com.

Follow these steps to get the special rate: 

·         Complete the dates and preferences section.

·         Click on “Add special rate codes”.

·         Enter OND in the group code section then click on “CHECK AVAILABILITY”.

·         After completing the reservation a confirmation number will be emailed to your guest.


What do I need to bring?

Your sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, fabric, patterns for your projects, extension cord, personal iron and small table-side ironing board, rulers, cutting mats, etc.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No, parking is free!

When can I check in for the retreat? 

You may check-in at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 6. Sewing will begin at that time and will conclude at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 8.

The Urban Sew-In is sold out, do you have a wait list?

What is your cancellation/refund policy?
The Urban Sew-In is non-refundable, if you are unable to attend after signing up and the event is sold out, if we have a person to take your spot, we will then offer a refund.
