6-Part Garment Series - Starts July 14 - Four Payments of $160
Have you ever dreamt of making your own wardrobe but have no idea how to get started? Yes, apparel sewing can be intimidating so, where do you begin?
Introducing Mary Make & Do's 6-Part Garment Series! Meeting once a month, Mary Perisho will teach you how to make 6 garments starting with easy/beginner and progressing to more intermediate projects.
Class schedule and projects are as follows:
Saturday, July 14, 2-5 p.m. - Elastic Waist Skirt
Saturday, August 18, 12-6 p.m. - Scout Tee by Grainline Studio
Saturday, September 8, 12-6 p.m. - Ruby Dress by Made by Rae
Saturday, October 6, 12-6 p.m. - Willow Dress by Grainline Studio
Saturday, November 17, 12-6 p.m. - Zinnia Skirt by Colette Patterns
Saturday, December 1, 12-6 p.m. - Gallery Tunic by Liesl & Co.
The cost is $640 and will be paid in 4 monthly installments of $160. The first installment is due when you sign up for the class. An invoice for the remaining 3 payments will be sent to the email address that is used when signing up. The fee includes all instruction, patterns, fabric, thread, and red dot tracing fabric for each pattern. You will be responsible for bringing a sewing machine and basic sewing supplies such as scissors, pins and marking tools.
If you have a scheduling conflict for one of the classes don't worry. Make-up classes can be made during our Open Sewing classes.
If you have fitting concerns, assistance is available to learn to grade (adjust) pattern sizes.
This series is designed for beginner's. The only requirement is that you are familiar with how to use a sewing machine. If you are new to sewing we recommend you take one of our Absolute Beginning Class prior to July 14. Ages: teens and adults.
