Absolute Beginner Sewing - 6-9pm, Friday 1/25
Never sewn a stitch? And have no idea where to start? This class is where you can learn how to sew, or get reintroduced if its been awhile. You do not have to know anything. Seriously, not a thing! No experience required.
You will learn how to use a sewing machine, including threading the machine and bobbin, and what the heck all those little attachments are for. You will be introduced to basic sewing skills, tools and terminology, along with lots of tips and tricks. You will also learn to measure, cut and press fabric. Then, Mary will walk you through all the steps to complete a simple envelope pillow cover - a fun project that gets you using your newfound skills, and you go home with something made by your very own hands!
