Instructor Mary Perisho designed this series of classes to introduce you to a variety of basic sewing skills, and help you become familiar and comfortable with a sewing machine, along with sewing terms, tools and tricks.
Mary likes to make learning to sew as simple and friendly as possible. You do not have to have any sewing knowledge or experience to do this! Its also a great way to keep learning if you've already taken our Absolute Beginner Sewing class.
Owl & Drum has an amazing collection of modern fabric for you to choose from, and all materials are included! You will make several useful projects that are easy to duplicate on your own later on, and have lots of fun!

A sewing machine is required. If you do not have a sewing machine we have machines to rent for $5 per class. Email Mary at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve one. We also have sewing supplies you can borrow as you build your sewing kit.
