NEW CAMP! Create Your Own Animal Stuffie! Monday 8/7 through Wednesday 8/9
Brand New Camp! We're going to the Zoo and kids will learn how to design and sew their own Animal Stuffie!
Taught by Mary Perisho, this camp for ages 8 and up will give your child a great intro to drawing, pattern drafting, sewing, hand stitching, machine sewing, and attaching buttons! Plus, we're going to visit the Zoo together!
Bring your kiddos and meet us* at the front gate of the Tulsa Zoo on Monday morning, 8/7, at 8:45am. We will visit several animals to make sketches which we will use to design the Animal Stuffie patterns.
*We ask that a parent or guardian please accompany your child to the Zoo, unless previous plans have been made with Miss Mary. Please email Miss Mary at email@example.com to make arrangements for her to be your child's guardian for the morning (Limited spots available).
On Tuesday, 8/8, students will use the sketches they made and learn how to draft a pattern to make their very own Animal Stuffie! And on Wednesday 8/9, we will sew the Stuffies!
