Green Sewing: Cloth Napkins! Saturday, 10/5 12-2 pm
Let's reduce our carbon imprint while doing something fun - sewing! Learn how to make re-usable cloth napkins that are great for everyday use and decorating your dining room table.
Mary will walk you through all the steps to sew basic cloth napkins, including cutting, pinning, sewing on the machine, following a seam allowance, pressing, and top stitching, and mitered corners if you're up for it! This class is excellent for skill building, and is beginner friendly! This simple project is ideal to learn in class, then go home and replicate. You can expect to complete 3 or 4 four napkins during the class, possibly more. Materials provide enough for 4 napkins.
Ages 11 and up.
$55, includes the fabric and instruction fee for this 2 hour class.
Bring your sewing machine and tools if you have them. If not, you can rent a machine for $5, and borrow our tools. We're happy to share!
